This project required the design and construction of two new buildings at the Sand Point Airport. Bering Pacific was awarded the contract for the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Airport Division in the late fall. Design of the buildings and related systems was performed at an accelerated rate during the winter with on-site construction beginning as soon as the barge could arrive at the end of April. Construction was completed nearly a month early.
